Summer Project #2

My kids Birthdays are coming up. They were all born within 2 weeks of eachother, 3 years in a row (does that make any sense?). Olivia is going to be 3, Landen is going to be 2, and Penelope is going to be 1. And I am NOT pregnant this year!!! Wohoo! So, naturally, their birthdays are celebrated together in a big blowout bash. The theme this year is a Carnival Party, and it's going to be nuts. I am totally going all out and making the food (don't worry, dinner is just hot dogs-Carnival Style, but there will be a treat buffet) and we're getting the essential Carnival gear: a popcorn machine & a cotton candy maker. There will be lots of games involving water since Arizona is sweltering even in the evening during July, and there will be lots of other fun things like face painting, pinatas, and maybe even a jumpy castle. The planning has now begun and we have a little over a month to get everything taken care of. I can't wait. We are going to have to take the kids birthday pictures this week so I can get the invitations out. I found these images on various blogs for inspiration. If anyone has any other ideas, hit me with them

That is a great idea! I kind of did the same thing for my sisters baby shower but it was baby circus animals and such. For center pieces I bought clay pots and covered them with bright colored tissue paper then filled the inside with Mike and Ikes and used Big swirly lollipops in the center like a bouquet. They turned out really cute and were also edible! good luck with the planning you are so crafty and I always like to read about what you are planning next!
