My next two weeks are going to be little bit like hell. Oh, did I say hell? I meant high school. I actually enjoyed high school immensely, so the next two weeks are probably going to be a little more like ASU (which I HATED). My friends I am going to Real Estate School and I am going to finish it in the next 9 days. It's going to suck, but I do perform the best under pressure so I think the 9 day program is best for me. I also have ADD (or extreme boredom, whatever.) when it comes to school so 9 days is about all I can handle. Don't worry, I'm not giving up my job as Mom of the Year (jokes, people.) to become The Top Real Estate Sales Person this side of the Rio Grande, I'm merely trying something new that might get us where we want to be sooner. My life dream is to renovate a historical home with some land to have some animals & a big garden, and Braden just wants to flip houses as a career so I think this will get us one step closer.
As far as the blog is concerned, this week and the next will be filled with more inspiration and projects from some of my favorite blogs, with a new theme everyday.
The theme for today is Weddings! I have a sister and a brother that will both probably be getting married soon, so I've scoping out a ton of Wedding blogs for ideas lately. If you are not planning a wedding, I still recommend checking these blogs out. You never know what great ideas can come to you from these!
1) Snippet & Ink. I've already professed my undying love for this blog and the owner Kathryn. She is amazing. Not only do I love her inspiration boards, but her Real Wedding Posts are always to die for. I love this Southern Retro Hoedown Rehearsal Dinner. I want to throw a party just like this. I gotta find me some cowboy boots.
2) Once Wed
This one has some really funky ideas. I'm lovin this post. Mustaches are all the rage, in case you didn't know.
3) With This Ring has a little bit of a modern twist to it, which is refreshing. I think these handmade invitations are darling. They also have a sister site, With this Nest , that is a great resource for getting your home in order.
4) LIttle White Book. This makes me feel like packing up my Mesa Arizona home and moving to the Deep South today. Savannah, Georgia pretty please. I swear if my life could just resemble the beautiful images on this blog, I would die happily. This real wedding is just dripping in retro-y cuteness, I just want to kiss that bride myself. I especially love love love those blusher veils, I think I might have to divorce, then remarry Braden so I can do a vintage garden party wedding complete with a darling veil and garter (didn't do either of those the first time around.)
5) And last, but not least, 100 Layer Cake is a blog dedicated to Wedding Crafts! Seriously, they actually have an entire blog about Wedding Crafting, and it is lovely. They do color boards too, just like Snippet & Ink, but with a little different flair. I think I want to use the colors from this board and use them for my bedroom. They are vintagey and sexy and I can just see that grey on my walls.
