Back with a Vengeance

Did you guys miss me? Took the week off for the Holidays, but now I'm back with some big things in the works. Oh, and I'm 24 now as of Saturday. New Years is coming up and we'll be doing our usual Appetizer night with my family and then come home to put our kids to bed and watch the ball drop. But this year, we're doing brunch at our house. We're making P Dub's cinnamon rolls, her biscuits & gravy with sausage (my favorite breakfast meal), and Braden will do eggs (his specialty). We will also be opening up the Watson cafe at our house since we got a rad coffee/cappucino/espresso maker. It's super professional and we also got starbucks coffee, their vanilla syrup, mocha powder, caramel sauce, and milk steamer to make Braden's carmel frappucinos with 2 extra shots. This is was the best xmas present ever since we will save a million dollars by not having to go to starbucks. I also got the first season of Pushing Daisies, some gift certificates, and the Martha cupcake tree, turkey platter, and some cute prep bowls. I got some sweet S for my birthday too, including a whole entire outdoor dish set for summer from my momma. It's so flippin cute I almost died. It's Disney (of course) and there are plastic tumblers, metal plates & bowls, utensils, napkins, salt & peppa shakers, and a huge metal tub to hold the frosty beverages. Stacy got me this super cute apron from anthro, and Bray got me the pepper grinder I have been drooling over, as well as some birdie salt & pepper shakers, and my red latte bowls. I definitely cleaned up.
