Christmastime

Hooray for Christmas!!!! I'm going all out for Christmas and I plan to document all the craziness here so get ready for some unnecessary cuteness and probably some tears at the end there (Christmas isn't Christmas til somebody's crying you know).
To start it off, I slowly began decorating my house this weekend. I got my gorgeous green poinsetta's at JoAnne's

I made my Merry Christmas Banner with Glittery Doodlebug paper from Scrapbooks Etc

And I made Peppermint Bark! I made them up in these cute bags for people to take home with them if they come to my house.

So easy, and so flippin cute (and delicious). I looked up Paula Deen's recipe on foodnetwork.com and modified it a little bit

My baggies were from JoAnne's, but they are Wilton so you can get them at Michaels or Wal Mart. I used the 4 x 6 size. The scrapbook paper I used is this Heidi Swapp Mintstix paper. I cut out 4 x 4 squares and folded them in half. I printed out some labels

which I glued on and added a Anna Griffin epoxy sticker to the topper. Finally, I stapled the toppers on with some lime green ribbon I got at Michaels. And there you go!

So freakin' cute!!

I envy you. Just going to throw it out there. Whenever I do a craft project, I always seem to compare it to your expertise craftiness. Haha. Seriously though, a lot of the time, I wish I could be you. :)
