No Sleep

I need the caffeine patch from Meet the Robinsons. "You can stay awake for days, with no side effects. AAAAHHH!" I haven't slept through the night for 2 1/2 years, but it's getting pretty bad lately. Penny only wakes up at 11:00ish and 3:00 ish, and then everyone is up at 5:30ish, but I've been going to bed at midnight, staying awake from 2:30 to 4:00, then trying really hard to sleep til 7:00 but it's hard when the kids wake up at 5:30. Braden is really awesome about getting the kids food and juice and turning on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so I can half sleep for a little longer. And it seems like the less sleep I get, the more stuff keeps piling up on my to do list. So, guess what everyone? Ashly & Dustin are getting engaged soon. I know it's a big announcement before anything has really happened, but I like to prepare everyone. Plus anyone who knows me knows I CANNOT keep a secret to save my life. Seriously, it's been an issue every Christmas. Anyway, guess who their wedding planner is? Oh yeah, ME baby. They're looking into December of 09. My mom broke the news to my dad yesterday and it went a little something like this:
Mom: " Oh, Lance, just to prepare you I think we are going to have to pay for another wedding at the end of next year."
Dad: (eyes roll dramatically) "Oh, I for got to tell YOU, I just enlisted for the Army,"

Ha Ha. My dad flippin LOVES paying for weddings. Everyone knows how I have been dying to plan a wedding lately. More about this subject later.

On a more important note, I found some fabulous Halloween decorations for my house while we were out getting ideas yesterday. Check out this gorgeous chandelier I found at Michaels! I'm gonna hang it from my tree outside. And JoAnnes has a bunch of glittery black cutouts to go in my yard too. Those plus my glittery pumpkins should be a hit! And Jo's also had black rose wreaths with silver glitter that I'm hangin on my door with matching topiaries. Love holiday decorating!

Lastly, we are going to another boutique this Friday to sell our Sweetie Pies stuff. Our Sweet Shoppe was really slow and hot, but the one in October is going to be much better. We're going to have ours at night, and we're gonna have a ton of fun Halloweenie stuff to do, so more on that later.
